Bailey is a graduate of a Masters of Counselling in Art Therapy from Athabasca University and the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute. Bailey is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a Registered Counselling Therapist with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists and also has a professional membership with CATA (Canadian Art Therapy Association) and OATA (Ontario Art Therapy Association). Bailey approaches her work from an existential background in art-therapy, incorporating mindfulness techniques, narrative therapy and a client-centred perspective. Bailey has additional training in narrative therapy, cognitive processing therapy, grief focused work and dialectal behaviour therapy.
